Live music in Thurles market for Culture Night with emerging rock bands Charcoal Greys and Thurles' own Paradise Conspiracy.
Before they were a band they were family - four first cousins from Tipperary, who grew up playing music at family gatherings, then deciding to turn that shared passion into Charcoal Greys. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Emily O’Keeffe, their sound is very much a fusion of their individual tastes and influences - a collision of 90s grunge, 2000s pop punk and modern alt rock. Having formed in 2024, the band has performed dozens of gigs most recently supporting The Academic in Cyprus Avenue. Charcoal Greys also recently played their first headline at The Source.
And with original tracks like 'Take My Life' and 'Evil Eyes' and hot off their recent stint at The Electric Picnic 'Paradise Conspiracy' with Oscar (singer), Conor (guitarist), Áine (bassist), and Eli (drummer), bring the energy.
