The Pretty Procedure
Theatre
8.0 p.m.
Join us tonight for a work-in-progress sharing, followed by a post-show conversation, as this new play continues its development.
The Pretty Procedure is a visceral live performance work exploring the medicalised body, girlhood, and the pressure to be beautiful. Inspired by lived experience of facial deformity, jaw surgery and body dysmorphia, the piece navigates beauty, shame and the surreal spaces between diagnosis and transformation.
Patrons Note: Tonight's event is a work-in-progress reading , not a full performance.
With kind support from Tipperary Arts Office and The Source Arts Centre.
