Bright Falls: ‘Dusk’ Album Launch
Music8.30pm
Thurles alternative-rock recording artist Bright Falls launch their debut album ‘Dusk’ tonight at The Source Arts Centre.
’Dusk’ is a concept album, a cinematic and nostalgic record inspired by classic break-up albums such as Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Tunnel Of Love’ and Kanye West’s ‘808 & Heartbreak’, ‘Dusk’ chronologically recites the unraveling of a relationship and the process of dealing with the separation. The album is about learning how to let go and more importantly learning how to move on and live as an individual.
Bright Falls’ blend of alternative and heartland rock with early 2000’s indie rock creates a guitar and synth infused music. Lyrically taking a narrative approach to songwriting, the songs lead to a melodic coalescence in the vein of artists such as The Killers & The War on Drugs.
‘Dusk’ was produced by Martin Quinn and Eddie McCormack and was mixed, mastered and recorded by Martin Quinn @ JAM Studios in Kells, Ireland.
