The Source Arts Centre is looking for submissions from Artists in respect of its 2027-28 Visual Arts Programme.
This includes 1) Gallery Exhibitions and 2) Projects (proposals for activities that do not require to be hosted in the Gallery)
Submission requirements are as follows. Please include:
1) A Submission Proposal identifying that you are applying for either: 1) Gallery Exhibitions or 2) Projects and outlining what you would intend to EXHIBIT in our Gallery if you were successful / or what your PROJECT involves.
Please include information about the nature and scale of work, technical requirements etc.
2) Images: A minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 jpeg images (marked with the title of the work and your name). The images can relate to previous work or the new proposal. All images should be under 1mb or can be included in the submission proposal document. Any video content should be included only via online links (like YouTube or Vevo etc.) in the submission proposal document.
3) Artists CV (Art-related only). This can be included in the submission proposal document, also.
Information:
Duration: Exhibitions run normally for 5-6 weeks, Projects will have their own time-scale depending on the work.
Fees: Chosen Artists will be paid a fee for both gallery and projects - and some additional production costs will be supported in agreement with the Centre. These are estimated as follows: A €3000 payment to Individual Artists for a five-six week exhibition run/project and €2,000 for production, invite and transport costs, based on needs.
Artists may be required take part in Gallery Talks/Workshops etc. Separate fees will be paid to Artists who engage in these.
