'The Song Cycle' the new film from Nick Kelly , the acclaimed musician (The Fat Lady Sings) and Film-Maker (The Drummer and the Keeper) , is a documentary film that follows Nick's journey as he undertakes to cycle from Ireland to Glastonbury Festival while performing along the way.

Joined by a friend on the road and inspired by environmental concerns. the film also explores music and friendship and is uplifting, humorous and thought-provoking.

Kelly says: " The Day we finally played Glastonbury I turned 60, officially outliving my famous politician father. So, while inspired by environmental concerns, 'The Song Cycle' is also a story about other forms of sustainability too. A funny, moving and thought-provoking film about Mother Nature , Father Time, and Brothers on the Road"

In a unique mini-touring programme incorporating cinema, music and sustainability this screening will involve Nick travelling sustainably (primarily by bicycle) performing a short acoustic set live after the screening.
