All Ireland Drama Festival finalists, Thurles Drama Group's acclaimed production of Conor MacPherson's contemporary classic is back by popular demand, for three nights.
Sharky has returned home to Dublin to look after his ageing brother Richard who’s recently gone blind. Long simmering tensions remain high between both siblings with the added inconvenience for alcoholic Sharky of trying to stay off the bottle.
On Christmas Eve, Richard invites old friends Ivan and Nicky up to the house, to play some cards. But with the arrival of a stranger from the distant past, the stakes are raised ever higher. In fact, Sharky may be playing for his very soul.
