Patrick DeWitt is the internationally acclaimed author of ‘Ablutions’, ‘The Sisters Brothers’, ‘French Exit’ and ‘The Librarianist’. Both ‘The Sisters Brothers’ and ‘French Exit’ have been released as movies, the latter produced by Sony Pictures in 2020 directed by Azazel Jacobs, starring Michelle Pfeiffer as Frances Price. Born in British Columbia, DeWitt now resides in Portland, Oregon. He will discuss his work, with writer and curator Dani Gill.

Dani Gill
is a writer, curator, producer, and educator, based in the west of Ireland. Dani served as Director of Cúirt International Festival of Literature (2010-2016), Ennis Book Club Festival (2020-2022) and has held production and creative roles in theatre and film. As an Audience Development Officer for LIVE Network, Dani works with venues and arts offices nationwide to deliver bespoke literary programmes. ‘Lessons in Kindness’, her second poetry collection was published in 2023.
