Patrick Barrett: 'There's Two Of Them Out There'

We're excited about Patrick Barrett’s new music piece, commissioned by the Source which will be released online on January 14th.

‘There's Two Of Them Out There’ is a new track created as one of the Source’s long-form music commissions series. The sparse and evocative piece features vocal and spoken word sections. Barrett of the group Arrivalists and previously of Hedge Schools and Ten Speed Racer, says of the 12 minutes track: “I came at it from the lived experience of minding both my parents in their last years.”

He chats about the piece and its creation in a Zoom Webinar at 8 p.m. on January 14th.
