Summer Youth Project: 'La Jetée'

It’s project time for teenagers interested in art and performance.

Dive into the world of ‘La Jetée’ Chris Marker’s famous 1962 still photograph sci-fi film - an exploration of memory, time, and identity.

Taking inspiration from the film, the young people will create a story of their own. The week-long art project invites teenagers to engage with the themes and visual storytelling of the film through various creative mediums.

Participants will create their own multimedia artworks that reflect their thoughts on memory, time, and their own experience, culminating in a showcase/ performance of their work.
