Everyday I Got The Blues - Workshop with Emilie Conway

"We're on a mission from God," said The Blues Brothers

in the legendary film. And little wonder since the influence of the blues
on modern music is absolute, from jazz, country and western to rock and
pop. From Eric Clapton, Elvis, Jimi Hendrix and Amy Winehouse to Myles Davis,
Billie Holiday and Loretta Lynn, all acknowledge the influence of blues singers
and musicians like Bessie Smith, W.C.Handy, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, John
Lee Hooker.

If everyday you got the blues, even on Saturday! then join Emilie Saturday
morning for a workshop on blues! Let the blues carry away the worries of
your week as we learn about this powerful music and listen to some of its most
legendary exponents. In this workshop you are also invited to sing the blues,
improvise with and without words, and who knows, if you're still blue enough,
you might just write your own blues!
