Gappy Being: An exhibition by Glenn Fitzgerald

Gappy Being: An exhibition by Glenn Fitzgerald
Sat 15 Sep – Sat 27 Oct 2018

10am to 5pm

Glenn Fitzgerald’s work is about a world between worlds or maybe outside of it or under it or in the very distant future or somewhere. Although this world or area is quite dreamy and hazy it can also be very clumpy with clumpy matter and a dingy atmosphere like a mechanic’s garage. Mostly it’s dreamy though. There are beings in it, all useless and some of them can actually slot into the narrow gaps between actual reality the way old cartridges or disks used to slot into computers in the not too distant past. SLOTTY BEING. GAPPY BEING.

Glenn lives and works in Dublin and is currently pursuing an MFA in painting at NCAD.

This show opens on Culture Night – Friday 21st September at 7.30 p.m. All welcome.
