Thurles’ own youth theatre presents Dubs a play inspired by ‘The Dead’ - James Joyce’s classic short story. A mix of fun eccentric characters occupy a house in Dublin: their mission – to highlight the housing crisis. But the solidarity of the group comes under threat as different viewpoints emerge pitting preservation against housing needs. Pitting Fracture Youth Theatre uses their sharp acting skills to bring this energetic and topical play to life. This exciting play rich with drama, music, relationships, poetry and activism will have you laughing, crying and feeling inspired.
