Dir. Olivia Wilde, USA, 2019, 105 min
BFF’s and High School overachievers Molly and Amy are in their final year. Thought of as being smug and pretentious by their peers, their co-dependent friendship has withstood all attacks from outside forces. But Molly and Amy have come to the late realisation that they may have spent too much time achieving and not enough living. “Nobody knows we’re fun,” Molly explains. “They need to know.” So the pair agree to put their last night of school to good use, finally embracing the recklessness they’ve spent a lifetime trying to avoid.
