Madam Silk

The debut performance at The Source of one of Ireland’s leading companies, with their critically acclaimed combination of amazing aerial dance, contemporary circus, dance, music and video.

The show opens in an empty old house where memories of Madam Silk lie forgotten under sheets of fabric. The winds of time blow through the room and awaken Madam Silk with all her memories, dreams and fantasies. The piece explores these three women and how they portray this one woman, Madam Silk, and their relationship with each other.  The three performers represent woman from history, each a different character.
