Young, Gifted and Green showcases some of the country's most popular young comedians, many of whom regularly headline shows in their own right. Tonight's act features the acclaimed Dermot Whelan and a talented Support Act.

 

Dermot is best known for his regular appearances on RTE's hit show The Panel and has performed at the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Comedy Festival and the Edinbrugh Fringe Festival. His comedy creation, the Toll Trolls, have had 3 top ten albums and went double platinum.

 

Dermot is especially proud of his acting success. He appeared in the 2003 Irish comedy classic Spin the Bottle as Garda #2. He had two lines:"C'mon now son" and "Move out of the way there, Son". Genius.
