Written in 1879 by Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen this still stands the test of time as one of the greatest of modern dramas. The play is set around Christmas-time and tells the story of a young woman Nora who is married with three small children and is totally devoted to her big businessman husband Torvald. He adores her but treats her like a child to the point where he is very controlling ...often calling her his little doll. Nora, however, has a dark secret which she has hidden for many years with the fear of her husband finding out. When an employee at her husband’s bank gets fired from his job he calls on Nora to speak on his behalf -  setting in motion a chain of events that could destroy her family.
