The Source Café

The Source Café, extensively refurbished in 2011, is run by husband and wife team, Matt and Sheena Lacovara. We hope you will pop by and experience their special welcome! On offer are breakfast, lunch and dinner on show nights. Coffee, tea and cakes also available, plus a chill-out area with sofas upstairs with views over the River Suir!

Matt is of Italian parents and Sheena is of Irish parents. Both moved to Ireland with their two children four years ago from the UK and have settled in nicely to the Irish way of life!

Matt was brought up in the catering trade and Sheena was brought up in the pub trade. Together they have the knowledge and experience to run a successful eatery where people can meet for a coffee and a chat in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

The Source Café menu is sure to tantalize your taste buds and a pre-show evening menu is a welcome addition Opening times are Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm and on theatre nights the café is open from 7pm to 9.30pm. We also do a take away service so if you’re pushed for time, give us a buzz on 0504 58858 and we’ll get your lunch ready for you to collect and take away!

So if you are visiting the area, going to the leisure centre, the Library, going shopping or coming to the theatre, pop in and see what we have on offer… and we will see to it that you enjoy your visit!

Roasted red pepper and goats cheese soup

Pasta hearts with a 5 cheese filling cooked in butter and sage

Char-grilled strip loin of Beef served with seasonal vegetables

Pan fried Sea Bream fillets served with seasonal vegetables and a creamy dill sauce on the side

Sambuca infused warm cherries and ice cream

Fresh Strawberries with a warm chocolate dipping sauce

Bailey’s cheesecake with a red berry coulis

The Source Bar

The Source Bar is run by Jane Ryan and Elaine Grace, who have been part of the team at The Source since 2007.

The bar is open for every performance, and will open an hour before show time.The bar then remains open after the show (where licencing hours permit!) and you are very welcome to hang around, have a drink, and, we hope, meet the cast, the singers, the dancers, the musicians! Interval drinks can be ordered in advance, so you don’t need to queue at the bar.
